PANCHAKARMA THERAPY (Five stage Therapy):

Ayurveda prescribes Panchkarma Therapy as the best remedy for almost all ailments as it purifies the body from toxic wastes settled in the body due to wrong life styles of the modern world. There are five distinct stages for Panchakarma. Each stage has an importance on our body. That is why utmost care is exercised at our centre while performing Panchakarma on patients. In addition to the Panchakarma Therapy or Five stage Therapy, we also practice in external treatment in the form herbal massage and herbal bath such as –

KIZHI (a form of herbal massage)
In this treatment the whole body is made to perspire by the external application of medicated packs in the form of boluses tied in cloth bags. The packs are made up of Rice (Njavarakizhi) or herbal powder (Choorna Kizhi) or herbal leaves (Elakizhi). The treatment is useful in musculoskeletal disorders degenerative conditions, neurological problems and etc. (Duration: 7 to 21 days, 1 hour daily)

PIZHICHIL (a form of herbal massage)

Pizhichil is another traditional Ayurvedic treatment performed at our center effectively. During this treatment, the patient is laid in a tub specially made from the wood of trees known for its medicinal values. Slow stream of warm medicated oil is applied all over the body along with Ayurvedic massages. Pizhichil is known to be one of the best treatments for rheumatic and neurological ailments. (Duration: 7 to 21 days, 1-1.5 hour daily according to the condition)

DHARA ( a form of herbal bath)

Dhara is performed on patients as an effective nervine tonic and as a remedy for psychosomatic disorders. It is very important that this treatment is conducted by using preparations exactly as per the Ayurvedic prescriptions for getting excellent results. Dhara is performed at our center by experts with many years of experience in this method of treatment alone. Dhara, the name is derived from the process of pouring oil or medicated butter milk continuously on the forehead. (Duration: 7 to 14 days. 1 hour daily)

KADIVASTI (Lumbar region) : Effective in treating lumbar spondylosis, lumbago, sciatica, disc prolapse etc

GREEVAVASTI (Cervial region) : Effective in treating cervical spondylosis, brachialgia etc.

JANUVASTI (Knee joints) : Effective in treatment Osteoarthritis etc.

UROVASTI/HRIDVASTI (Cardiothoracic region) : Effective in treating in hypertension, problems of ribs, asthma & other respiratory diseases.

NETRAVASTI/NETRA TARPANAM (Eyes) : Effective in curing myopia, hypermetropia, astigmatism, cataract and other ophthalmic conditions.

CHAKRAVASTI (Umbilicus) : Digestive disorders. (Duration: 7 to 14 days, 30-45 minutes daily)

UDHWARTANAM : It’s a procedure in which deep massage is done with powders in opposite direction of the hair follicles. Effective in treating obesity, chronic skin diseases, stabilising the body tissues.
(Duration: 7 to 21 days, 1-1.5 hours daily)

MUKHA SOUNDARYAVARDHINI : A facial beauty treatment to improve colour and complexion of the skin using gentle ayurvedic herbal face packs, face wash and cream.

KESHINI : Is a hair conditioning treatment using various herbal powders, pastes and shampoos.

PADASHUBHAKARI : An Ayurvedic herbal foot treatment performed using various herbal pastes, decoctions and cream.

KARASHUBHAKARI : An Ayurvedic herbal hand treatment performed using various herbal pastes, decoctions and cream.

OTHER TREATMENTS: Other popular Ayurvedic treatments performed at our center are Avagaha Sweda (Hip Bath), Upanaha Sweda (Poultice) and Putapaka (Opthalmic procedures). These treatments are also carefully undertaken strictly as per Ayurvedic traditions and references.
